This year, the Kaushik Lab proudly took part in the 2025 MS Walk, joining thousands of Canadians in raising awareness and support for individuals affected by multiple sclerosis (MS). Our team participated in the Mount Pearl edition of the walk — one of many held across the country — showing our support for the local MS community and contributing to a nationwide movement for change.
As a research lab at Memorial University focused on neuroimmunology and the molecular mechanisms of MS, our involvement reflects more than just solidarity — it represents our commitment to advancing the science that will one day lead to better treatments and, ultimately, a cure. Our team walked with pride, driven by the people at the heart of our research.
Participating in the Mount Pearl MS Walk gave us a meaningful opportunity to engage with patients, families, and advocates — the very individuals whose lives we hope to impact through our work. It was a day filled with inspiration, community, and a shared purpose.
We extend our sincere thanks to the MS Society of Canada for organizing this impactful event, and to everyone who walked, donated, or cheered from the sidelines. Together, we are moving one step closer to ending MS.
